The Horizontal Chipper is a workhorse designed for high-production mills. Conical chip heads operate in the vertical plane which reduces side chipping forces, resulting in smoother feeding, better quality chips and longer-lasting knives.

· USNR’s True Flow chipper knife system is standard, and the system easily accepts either babbitted or dual-edge babbittless replacement chipper knives
· Knife impact helps pull the log through the chipper module (rather than resisting log flow), improving finish quality while minimizing knot tear-out and grain roll
· Pre-cut saw available for sawn finish
· Heavy-duty welded steel frame provides solid structure, reducing vibration and improving surface quality
